ZOA1550H EDFA adopts JDSU, Lumics and other world-renowned semiconductor companies as the pumping source. In the interior of the machine is equipped with the output optical power stability circuit and laser thermoelectric cooling device, temperature stability control circuit to ensure optimal machine performance and long-life laser stability. The microprocessor software monitors the lasers’ working state, the VFD screen displays the operating parameters. Once the laser operating parameters deviate from the permissible range set by the software, micro-processing will automatically turn off laser power, red light goes on to warn, digital panel prompts cause of troubles.

Traditional Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) is featured with low noise, high gain, wide bandwidth and stable performance, which makes it widely used in CATV system. But with increasing of CATV transmission points and demand of FTTH, FTTB, when EDFA is cascaded in CATV system, system C/N will be deteriorated seriously. Therefore, high power and low distortion EDFA is required accordingly. Our EDFA meets these features and applies to FTTH, FTTB networks.

Features

(1) High quality: the former-class pump adopts 980nm as small signal to amplify, after-class adopts 980nm high power multi-mode pump, optical power is optimized by software to minimize noise figure of EDFA, and make systems achieve excellent CNR.

(2) Flexibility: built-in high-performance switching power supply, it can work at 85~265Vac City Network Voltage, as well as an optional DC48V power supply (reservations required); chassis cooling automatic temperature control. Mechanical cooler (Dual fans) on back panel helps to make heat dispersion thus to protect the pump laser

(3) Intuitive: The machine equipped with microprocessor monitors the working state of the laser, the panel LCD window displays the operating parameters.

(4) Network type: Select All-piece status monitoring transponder guarantee to meet the national standard and be compatible with the SCTE HMS standard, it enables network management monitoring capabilities.

 Remark

1. The main component of the amplifier laser is sensitive to the static electricity, so please keep the amplifier away from the static electricity. Furthermore, please keep it away from caustic things.   Please keep the amplifier in temperature between -25℃and 65℃.

2. Because big power may damage the output port, so it is advised to split to more than 4 outputs.

3. Please don’t now attempt to look into the optical connectors when power applied, eye damage may result.

4. Please don’t block up the heating dispersion hole and keep the machine aired.

5. Please don’t unfold the machine or remove any parts of the machine.

6. Please don’t insert the connectors when the power is on.

7. Please don’t test the EDFA more than 5 times.

8. Big power may damage the output port, so it is advised to split to more than 2 outputs.

9. Input power influences C/N, so advised input value is 3~4dBm.
