3.Usage and Note of Micro Optical Receiver
●To connected RF interface of Micro Optical Receiver to the RF input port of set-top-
box.
●To connected USB interface of Micro Optical Receiver to the USB input port of set-
top-box.
●To connect the connector of the fiber optic cable to the adapter of set-top- box (SC/
APC or FC/APC) of the compact unit. The installation connection diagram of Micro Optical Receiver is as before picture. (Note: There is invisible laser in the fiber core, must not see the fiber core directly.)
●Optical power indication. >-2dBm: When the input optical power is higher than -2dBm, the red indicator is on.
-10~-2dBm: When the input optical power is between -2dBm and -10dBm, the green indicator is on.
<-10dBm: When the input optical power is lower than -10dBm, the red indicator is OFF.
●Note: Input optical power is greater than +2dBm will cause permanent damage to the product. The input optical power range of this product is -10~-2dBm.
